Disappearance of Flight MH370

On an astrology forum, a member has categorically rejected the idea that the troubled pilot of Flight MH370, Zaharie Shah crashed by labeling it a "debunked conspiracy theory".
IMO nothing could be further from the growing truth. As with many important figures and disaster events, 'all is not what it seems'. If there is a conspiracy it's a minority of one - Shah, the pilot, acting on his authoritarian and ultra-nationalistic beliefs.
I believe his deliberate ditching of the plane will be eventually proven by forensic evidence garnered from the jet's two black boxes. 

Labels are handy because they act as form of censorship.
Yet disturbing evidence of a man in crisis after two years of prolonged investigation is mounting - week by week. Shah, the Captain of the doomed Malaysian Airlines 777, may be responsible for the plane's mysterious disappearance and the death of 239 souls.
Two noted aviation experts and Malaysian officials point to his practicing the flight's evasive route on a home flight simulator. Zaharie's wife Faizah is being pointedly oblique by refusing to talk about his state of mind before the flight. Just 48 hours before takeoff she left Shah and their home, taking his children away. Zaharie was "in no state to fly" (quote)
By all indications his is a highly stressed astro chart.

Two Horoscopes
Certainly Zaharie Amad Shah's rectified natal chart demonstrates a troubling volatility via hard aspects and a Yod to his Saturn Ascendant. We note extreme sensitivity with Moon 28 deg. 41" Pisces opposing Mars and squaring Venus. His moon conjuncts Scheat, Titanic's death star. Venus 26 Gem. squares Mars in Virgo (need for precision). His is a world filled with romantic uncertainty, confusion and mistrust of feminine emotion.
The Sun at 7 Leo conjuncts fixed star Acellus.

Aselli with Sun: Blows, stabs (operations nowadays), serious accidents, shooting, shipwreck, beheading, hanging, murderer or murdered, violent fevers, danger of fire, disgrace and imprisonment. [Robson*, p.142.]
Sun / Aselli opposes Jupiter; he would do whatever his large ego dictated; a sense of entitlement? At the very least this aspect indicates a domineering and judgmental attitude when pushed.

Mercury in Cancer opposes Saturn (authority) and Jupiter (aircraft). Seen as a moody person who would fly because he felt he had to - bad mood or not. Restricted ability to communicate, being 'out of touch'. Mistrust / misuse of one's authority.

8th House Planets
Shah's 8th house contains two traditional malefics, stressed Mars and Pluto.

Role of family, religion and politics
Shah was a devout Muslim and a rabid political supporter of Ibrihim, Malaysia's jailed opposition leader.

Abdelhamid Abaaoud 28 yrs., Paris Attack Planner, terror cell organizer / financier and all-around Python, is no more. Apparently some people object to the moniker = too bad.
Paris Police took him out in a pre-dawn raid Weds. Nov. 18, 2015 @ 4:25 am approx. - per news media.

The heavy presence of *Draco / star Baten Kaitos 17-18 Aries +Sun in both in his natal chart
and Nov. 18th's transiting Uranus in the same degree is aboundingly 'poetic'.
Also note; transiting Saturn 20VI +Denebola from September's Solar Eclipse helped bring about his demise.

USS Thresher - Neptune +Alfard +Hades interplay

This is one of the more dramatic interplays of a Captain's natal chart and that of his ship (boat).

Some may recall the shocking announcement on national TV April 10, 1963.
the fairly new USS Thresher nuclear submarine, first of a series, sank / imploded at 0918 hours with the loss all 129 hands.

For fifty years the US Navy's Official Board of Inquiry pegged the cause as a frozen compressed air valve which prohibited the sub from blowing it's ballast tanks and surfacing. This turned out not to be the primary cause however.

What did Lt. Cmdr. John W. Harvey, b. Sept. 4, 1927, Bronx, N.Y., bring to this dramatic event?
By all accounts he was a USN "rising star" with a fine academic record.

And yet, it appears Lt. Cmdr. Harvey had breathtaking personal phantoms. 
If one doesn't deal with their mythic fears in a creative and positive fashion; how are those fears made manifest in the real world?
Can releasing fear empower us to do more; to see further?

El Faro - Hybris & King of The Deluge

Thursday Oct. 1^st   2015; El Faro was making it's way through hurricane seas with 30 foot waves crashing over her sides.

The El Faro, a 790 ft. cargo ship launched in 1974, made her last radio call at 7:20 am: "We've lost power & propulsion" 

The ship probably could have made a successful run to Puerto Rico in the teeth of  Hurricane Joaquin had she not lost all power. It was not to be however.

Below are both the El Faro's astro charts; it's launch and sinking.

At inception the new ship was named Puerto Rico. 

It was later changed to El Faro.

1974 Launch Virgo Moon opposes Skat @ 07 Pisces in the sinking chart. 

In ancient times fixed star Skat was known as "the King of the Deluge"                         

Launch Neptune's lord; Jupiter 16AQ conjuncts asteroid Damocles "immanent danger' 

Jupiter's lord Saturn in mutable Gemini is retrograde in the anoretic 29th degree; the situation on October 1, 2015 will be critical.

We see mutable Saturn Rx conjuncts fateful South Node; "point of maximum loss".

El Faro Sinking Event 

Taurus Moon conjuncts Caput Algol

Moon's sub-ruler Venus in Leo is squared by Algol - to press on heedlessly.

Venus' lord, Libra Sun conjuncts Mercury Rx in 12th of hidden conditions, breakdowns.

Libra challenged in the 12th house represents balance and it's catastrophic loss.

Launch Neptune conjuncts Saturn in the sinking chart.

This means water - the deluge reclaims goods, valuables, the ship is lost.

Neptune Rx conjuncts fixed star Skat 7 Pisces; "King of the Deluge"

Moon in the 8th house; the crew, e.g. people are the victims.

According to ex-crew members, "Beneath it's top deck, El Faro was a rust bucket".

Perhaps age, rust and a fated 1993, 91' structural expansion contributed to the tragedy.

Ill-timed travel plans went awry. Engines failed. Thirty-three crew lives were lost.

Floyd Ray Cook - a Career Criminal bows out

Can one become addicted to crime?

There are many forms of addiction.

This past Friday we heard about the manhunt for and the sudden demise of a career criminal -
Floyd 'Ray' Cook

b. April 21, 1953 Marion, KY
d. Oct. 30, 2015

This man had a rap sheet of serious offenses extending 44 years.
Thirty-six of those strife-ridden years were spent behind prison bars.
That's 13,140 days of anger, striving, planning and frustration.

Attached is his natal chart (no time).
Of particular note is Sun conjunct Hades; signifying waste, decay, death.
Taurus Sun lacks positive aspects.
Sun squares N. Node +Damocles
There doesn't seem to be much of an anchor in his life.

a massive drive to spirit people, valuables into the depths, into Dis / the dark Underworld.

This is a most challenging aspect set for any lifetime.

Some of us can relate to this nightmare.
It comes on like a movie, first the newscast, then one's thoughts and fears arrive.
It's grim reality.

Unlike a bad dream, it's relentless.
And it never goes away.

An alleged fatal car driver barrels into the parade crowd at OSU in Stillwater, Oklahoma USA doing 50 mph.
Four are killed and almost fifty people injured by a maniacally frustrated and, perhaps, screaming young woman's automobile who appears to intentionally target humans.

The driver is a frustrated and enraged 25 yr. old female, some seven years after her high school graduation, working a part time job in fast food. There's no career and it looks like her would-be artistic effort has stalled out. A week earlier she had asked her Dad if she could move back home.

Just before the crash her employer sends her home because he thinks she's on drugs.
Now that's torn it. Tears ... Why me!! What to do?
There's no rational thought - only a white-hot rage fueled by gossip and inexplicable betrayal at work.

The lawyer says it could be mental illness, drug tests are pending.

Why? Everyone has their breaking point.
Witness: “She just looked at me and said she was trying to kill herself.
I said, ‘What?’ And she said, ‘I was trying to kill myself,’ and I asked her why and she said, ‘to be free,’” Oglesby said.

Study the two astro charts carefully and realize it could happen to anyone ...
even you.

Yarnell Hill Wildfire - 19 Fatalities

Yarnell Hill, Arizona

June 28, 2013 was a fateful day.
Around 5:36 pm MST nineteen firefighters of Arizona's Granite Mountain Hotshots team were killed when a raging lightning-sparked wildfire racing uphill suddenly overtook their exposed position.
Although personal emergency shelters were deployed many were overcome before they could be used. There were no survivors.
Mistakes were made. Shifting winds, distance and poor communications contributed to their demise.

Compare this chart to the 1933 Griffith Park Wildfire when 29-33 workers died while clearing brush in a canyon near Los Angeles, CA.
The fatal inferno was caused by piled debris that caught fire and spread out of control.
